There's a Windows program that allows you to set all sorts of settings for games that normally can't be set in game menus. It offers much more options like resolutions, AA and AF settings, etc. What is the name of it because I can't find it by Googling keywords?

Do you mean the control panel which comes with the ATI or Nvidia drivers?

You're right. It's Nvidia Forceware Control Center and Catalyst Control Center. Are these ok to install on Vista on Boot Camp?

Should be ok as they come bundled with the drivers when downloaded from ATI or Nvidia. You can download drivers without the control panels but the default package (which is usually fairly large... 30MB or more) come with them.

Thing is Boot Camp 1.4 said it installed new graphics drivers without going into any detail. ATI's site says the latest graphics drivers they have were released in May for XP only. They don't list anything for Boot Camp Vista. It's confusing.

Do you think the Catalyst Control Center for XP they list here will work on Vista with the drivers Apple included with Boot Camp 1.4?

Can I download other Catalyst drivers for Vista apart from the one included with Boot Camp? Like this package...

I went ahead and installed this package. No Catalyst Control Center included in it. The driver it installs is 8.39-070614a. It's a Boot Camp specific driver and probably the same as what comes with BC 1.4.

The XP version of Catalyst Control Center works on Vista. However, the Overdrive features are missing for both GPU and LCD

Any way to enable them?

Also found out the newest Boot Camp drivers are based on Catalyst 7.7 not 7.8. Even if you download and install 7.8 your Boot Camp drivers will not be updated.
