My sister just bought an Apple Macbook laptop and she cant seem to install/play any of her PC Games (sims 2, etc). Can Macbooks play PC Games? Is there something she needs to download or instal or anything?

Yes, there is something she needs to install, and it is called Windows. Go to Apple.com, learn about Boot Camp, buy a copy of Windows, and follow the instructions to the letter. After that, you will have a MacBook that will start up in OS X or Windows.

Games meant for Windows won't automatically play on Mac OS X any more than a PlayStation game will play on an Xbox.

It's times like these that make me wish Apple would advertise BootCamp a little more. I would think it's a huge selling point for those already curious about the Mac.

Oh yeah, it's a Mac, not MAC.

Wish there was an app kinda like wine that would allow me to play games without installing another OS.

I would think emulating a PC would be far worse than actually running one legit from your Mac.

Also be aware that if your sister's games are newish and graphically demanding, they'll preform terribly on a MacBook.
