The Power Pro Baseball series finally came to America in the form of MLB Power Pros.

It has the Japanese "kiddie" look, but this game is SWEEEEEEEET with an incredible amount of depth. It totally blew me away.

The Success Mode only lasts through college; I'd prefer it to last through the minors and MLB, but it's still pretty cool.

If you have a PS2 or Wii, GET THIS GAME!

It looks interesting and got good reviews... but I found out it doesn't have motion controls on Wii. You don't swing the wiimote to swing the bat. Seems odd.
But it's really that fun, eh? I'll give it a rent...

Yeah, you can use the nunchuk setup, Gamecube controller, or classic controller. I've gone the classic route.

To be honest (this is sad), I'm glad it doesn't use waggle. I know that's what the Wii's made for, but I've found it pretty frustrating, at least in sports games.

I've been waiting for a good baseball game that takes advantage of the Wii's motion controls. I'm disappointed to learn this one doesn't use them at all, as this one looks fun (I don't care about 'realistic' baseball - much more interested in a fun game).
