My .02$ after reading some analysis today, it seems like its going to be an expansion of halo 3 (game or downloadable content) possibly to be released in january, seems that you'll play an ODST (halo's version of the airborne) or maybe a squad of ODST (same troopers in the live action halo sequences ) i guess time will tell...

From KBs post. New skulls and achievements on maps that don't exist yet.

Considering there are no skulls on multi maps I'd say it's a safe bet we'll be seeing an extended campaign.

i think it was always a plan (you know they like to play games) it could also be a set up for the "next" game, with a extended campaign playing as ODST's could set up for an entire ODST based halo game (which has been rumored as a mix between Ghost Recon and Gears)

Well I played Squad Battle, won the match, now I'm a recruit!

It still says Brigadier when you get player info, but as of right now my highest rank for any playlist is recruit. It'll be silly to play TS with a room full of 45+ recruits.

I just realized bungie just did a rank reset without actually doing a rank reset.

Well if they completely reset the ranks I would cry like a little girl if I lost my bird.

It makes me want to play again, but ranking up is really only for show now (more so than before of course) since I have ranks in every scenario besides Squad Battle. In TS it says 44 (for me) and has a blank space next to it where I will eventually get a rank, but I've had such an impossible time ranking above 45 I doubt I would be able to win enough to get EXP to get a rank.....meh.

Played a little halo 3 today just to remember the good ol days, got a 150GS of new achivements (double double kill in one game, 3 assassinations in one game, 2 melee kills with flag one game, 5 warthog gunner kills in one game all needed to be done on legendary maps) Good times for sure.

Well Dakar and I (KB helped on a few games too) went 11/14 on a spur-of-the-moment Halo 3 night. A three and a half hour spur of the moment.

The night ended with an un-lubricated ass raping in One Flag on Valhalla.

Bogues left in a hurry suddenly after one match, my only guess is that his g/f demanded unsatisfactory sex.
