I'd say I get XP half the time.

Just won 4 Team Snipers games in a row, only got XP on two of them

Edit: I can sign into Bungie.net just fine right now.

I logged onto MatchMaking yesterday and was given a sudden promotion jumping like two ranks, so I think they did some correcting.

QFT. I think I ended up with a -15 on one of our games. Last night was horrible. We seem to always end up with a bunch of quiters or betrayers on our team. I even got booted mid match because I killed a betrayer.

I betrayed the same dude Stogie betrayed (after he was booted) and he was unable to boot me.

Something I stumbled on while checking my stats regarding deaths by certain weapons.

Apparently, I've been killed by a cone before during a Social match...wish I knew about it and took a photo/video of it.

Edit: It's official, DLC Big Team is the home of the quitter...

As for cone deaths, good luck. Replay any match where you died and there was an explosion nearby concurrently.

Basically infection on a customized (and much darker) Cold Storage map. In fact, CS isn't so bad with the addition of a shield door here and there.

Ok. I've been a Mac gamer and never gamed on the Xbox 360 over Xbox Live. If I wanted to play Halo 3 in multiplayer over Xbox Live, do I need "friends" or can I log onto some server out there and play? I've been thinking of getting an Xbox Live Gold Subscription in a couple weeks to play Halo 3 multiplayer.

Teammates dropping has almost killed the fun of Rocket Race for me. Usually they drop before the session has even loaded (but Halo keeps them on my team anyway for some reason.)

It will automatically match you with other players of the same skill, you can also invite people into a 'party' to play with you against matched players.

When it comes to online console matchmaking, Halo 3 takes the cake.

So, did anyone catch how bungie will be ripping us off with the mythic map pack?

Apparently they'll be dropping in the spring, but if you buy Halo 3: Recon, you get them with the game. Except the game drops in Fall 09. So there'll be 3 people saving money on that deal.

"Broke" is the right word. I got schooled pretty bad... but it was fun. They sure have added a lot to Halo 3 since I played it last about a year ago. Pretty cool to see all the new gameplay modes.

I wonder how long the announcement of Halo 3: Recon will push back the PC version of Halo 3...
