I installed Vista with Boot Camp and have been playing some games. When playing something graphically intensive like Half-Life 2 or more so Call of Duty 4 the fans kick in like crazy. It gets so loud and to the point where I'm worried that it is too much for the computer. The game play and graphics are great. The noise just worries me. Is this okay? Should I not be playing games like these on the computer? I have a MacBook Pro 2.4ghz with an NVIDIA 6800M GT video card.
I wouldn't worry too much about fans. I mean, it's worth noticing, but as long as computer is not overheating or behaving strangely, that just means the fans are doing their job.

Actually, it could be a sign of a very serious problem. You may have a blown fan, which I only discovered on my Macbook Pro when playing graphically intense games. I'd have it checked out right away.
