Don't know why, but mupen didn't work for me.
I open mupen - choose open rom - choose rom... and nothing happens. Can somebody tell me what i might be doing wrong? Thank you in advance

You really shouldn't start two threads about the same thing.

The only other idea I have is that the ROMs you downloaded are corrupt or generally not done correctly.

I have a few that I know work, Top Gear Rally and Goldeneye 64. If your e-mail is large enough to accept 8-12 mb files I can send either of them for you to test.

You can send me a Private Message with your e-mail address if you're interested.

You can mess around with the settings in Sixty-Force but you really need a more powerful Mac, I've heard.

From what I've seen people get good results with Dual G5s and up.

To elaborate more:

I've read the custom cpu/gpu used in the N64 is extremely hard to emulate. Therefore you need a Mac with some horsepower.

You can always max the RAM out, but I doubt you'll see much better results.

Just do a search for PC2700 DDR SDRAM, that's the type your Mac takes.

Also, I have no idea how easy installing RAM is on your machine.

In short, I don't think it will be worth it for you spending money just to run N64 ROMs. I'd buy a used N64 for that sort of thing.
