Many gamers recommend i play Suer Mario 64, and having never played it, and now owning a NDS and a Wii i was wondering which one would be better to get. On the Wii i would play it using the GCN controller. Just wondering what you guys thought would be the better game to play.

Because of the small screen, I would say the Wii VC. I hear they gave the game a graphics boost, so it shouldn't look too bad. Besides, the controls are easier on a full controller with thumbsticks.

The DS version does allow you to play as Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario though, and it has plenty of cool mini-games.

Still, I would say the Wii VC one. But how about both? I don't think it would be that expensive.

I hear the stylus based 'mini-games' on the DS version of SM64 are the same as the ones on 'New Super Mario Bros.' which i have. So i guess the VC version would make sense especially since its cheaper. i heard they spruced up the DS version graphically and the new characters, as well, but thats still $30.

I think ill go for the VC version. hows the gameplay with the GCN controller ?

Never played it on GC, and I'm not sure how they'd go about re-assigning the camera controls (C Buttons on the N64 Controller) but I'm fairly certain the joystick will be better to use.
