OK, I was putting some icons using CandyBar and WoW was one of them. Though it seems, it hosed the game from what I've been able to read elsewhere on it.

Does anyone have a current wow.app they could send my way? I don't need anything else other than the wow.app, it seems. I hope. Be a pita to re-install everything.

Got it working. Found an old copy on a backup drive and just had to spend a couple of hours as it updated. But I did back everything new up on the drive. Whew.

looks like i have the same problem, when i login it says it cant validate the version or something. just looked in my backups and its already been removed.... sigh

Once I got the old version and downloaded all the patches, I was able to manually change the icon. But I made sure I copied over everything in the folder just to be safe. Guess I need to clear that hard drive out and get Time Machine going. -50 dkp for being lazy.
