Hello,
I have been trying to figure out how to run Chessmaster 9000 w/o the DVD, but I have been unsuccessful. I have tried making a disk image of the game using Disk Utility and with Toast9, as well. No go. Is there some other way I can run this game w/o the dvd? I would appreciate any input on this. Thanks

Making the disk image with Disk Utility should work. Make sure you double click the disk image so that the disk mounts on the desktop. And make sure that it is titled exactly the same as the dvd. I've done this with some other games, but don't have Chess Master, so perhaps there is a more advanced check to see if the disc is in the drive. Good luck.

The disk image is a 4.3GB file that you need to have. Creating a dummy dmg does not work.
