which windows vista for gaming on mac pro

Hi i have the 1st generation mac pro and i am planning on buying the 8800 GT for gaming. i was wondering which version of windows vista will work best with the quad core? or is it all the same? home, premium, business, ultimate, 32 bit or 64 bit.

The guts are really very much the same.
I'd use the 64-bit version as I believe your machine has a 64-bit CPU (from memory... remind me of the CPU type and I'll make sure). Vista x64 is nowhere near as half-assed as XP 64 was, but all said, it's really not gonna make a huge difference in the end (particularly depending on how much RAM you have).

Yeah, it's all the same. I have Vista x64 on my MBP, and it performs fine. If the cost is the same, might as well go for the 64-bit.
