Torchlight 2 Announced, Features Co-Op Multiplayer

I never picked up the first one, though I have heard good things about it. What turned me off was the lack of MP. That will not be an issue with the sequel. I most likely will pick it up when it comes out. Hopefully, they make it for OS X, I'd rather not have to boot into 7 to play.

Definitely looking forward to this. Really enjoyed Torchlight (enough that when they released the OS X version, I played it through again) but would still be playing the first game if they had multiplayer.

A friend and I will be heading to PAX this year, where they'll have a playable alpha on display. I'll definitely ask about an OS X version.

Ahh, that's right. They did release it for OS X. Perhaps I'll looking into to getting it when the price drops for a sale.

If you register your PC key with Steam, they were letting you download the Mac version for free (via Steam for Mac). Don't know if that still applies, but it was a really nice gesture on their part.

If you already own one version, you can download the other version at no additional cost. Beats buying the same game for two different platforms.
