Hey, matty... how's it going in MW3? What prestige you at? I'm at rank 20 something of my 6th prestige.

Thanks for the video on the LMGs, it's definitely improved and increased my LMG use.

Sorry Leonard, I was away for a bit.

I'm 6th Prestige, level 79 and the last pile of XP needed to prestige again is becoming a chore. Of course when you're chasing XP you don't do so well. Plus I have no weapons or perks near the 10,000 XP mark so its a slow grind.

For those that like info about MW3 check out a channel on YouTube by XboxAhoy. He actually works for Activision now.

We (the clan that I'm in) have been doing clan ops and some of them have been quite fun. We got gold level in one thing and silver in another. Our clan is at level 17. I haven't seen many other players that are in clans that have as high a rank as we do.

Still not reached Dakar's time in MW3. Saw Fatty on, in between a BF3 session IIRC.

Well all is right in my MW3 world now. Level 40 so I've just unlocked the Stinger. Aircraft beware.

Had a 35k XP game. Mastery of the FMG9, Veteran 1 of the FMG9 and some other stuff. Dumb that you can't see all the completed challenges in the game summary, and even dumber that we can't take a screen shot.

This game is all but dead in here, but I'll post anyway.

Clan Ops have given this game a bit more interest recently. We've just hit level 20 which means 4 hours of double XP. For me personally it doesn't make any difference (staying at 7th level 80). We've gotten Gold in a few but mostly silvers. Domination and KC have turned out to be my favourites if only because after 6 months the horrible spawning in TDM hasn't been corrected.

Finally got my first gold gun, the MK14, which is my favourite weapon and the one I do best with (I tend to play a bit 'safer' when using it instead of running around everywhere like I do with the other assault rifles and SMGs).

There was double XP on the Elite playlists over the weekend so I finally got to play some of the new maps. There is one called sanctuary which has a church. The detail inside is amazing, the reflections on the marble floor are excellent. Foundation is another that I like. Piazza, Black Box and Liberation are OK, but I really don't like Overwatch, especially for Domination.

It was live about a month ago I think.

I was gonna try to see if I could activate one for our clan, but nobody was playing MW3 from our clan, so I didn't bother.

I don't think I've been in MW3 in the last 2 weeks. I'll go back to it one day this month, just to get the achievements on the new Spec Ops maps.

There was a time, during the MW2 epoch, that I was rather fond of hardcore mode. IIRC, Fatty also became a devotee. With a continuous 3 bar connection (at best) last night I jumped into HC and came out with some good scores. I find it strange that I can play better in HC with 3 bars than I can in std with 3 bars.

Ground War. has anyone ever had a non-laggy game? I cannot understand how all the vids on YouTube showing quad-kills by quick-scopers during ground war matches could ever happen. Its terrible for decent games. Maybe its European internet connections (which I actually understood to be rather good).

I was messing around in MW3 on the Canada long weekend.

I finally got a Pistol mastered (not a machine pistol). Used it where I could sneak up on someone or surprise them (ok, I was camping a few times). I think it's the MP412 (the pistol just before the .44 Magnum). Now I'm trying to master the .44 Magnum. Finally got it to akimbo.

Lol! I was having fun on Liberation with the .44 Magnum. I was sneaking up on snipers, by sneaking around on their flank and coming at them from behind. Of course I'd get one sniper and the second one would hear all the noise and get me.

I see there are a few new maps on the regular playlists. Foundation, Oasis, and Sanctuary. Sanctuary and Oasis are going be good camping maps with their niches and corners... got a few pistol kills on Sanctuary, some nice camping spots.

I also got 2 of the achievements for the new Killswitch spec ops map (finish the mission on any difficulty & shoot down 6 helis). I'll have to try the Ironclad spec ops map this coming weekend.

Oh, and I finally got one gun to 2,500 kills, the ACR. Now I'm working on the G36C.

Hey Matty, what level is you MW3 clan. I'm looking for a bigger clan, that's at a higher level to get a few off the MW3 clan level titles.

24 I think. We had a few people just signing up for the xp, so you need to join the clan for a while before getting into the mw3 clan part.Dunno how many are still playing mw3.

Saw something about Elite being free and I thought it was for MW3 but its for Blops2.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're doing with Blops 2. I haven't being paying any attention. I did see an email about Elite still be available/working for MW3. But considering I don't think we'll see any more DLC for MW3, it didn't really matter to me.
