With another broken TV on my hands (F U Sony), it's back to PC gaming for a while. You may know I was eagerly awaiting the launch of D3, which turned out to be a huge disappointment, so I was looking for a way to quench my A-RPG thirsts. Enter Path of Exile.

I first heard about this game on the Diablo 3 general forums, people were saying things like "This is what Diablo 3 should've been" and "Path of Exile, D3 for gamers." These comments intrigued me, but not enough to actually download the game. It wasn't until my buddy started playing that I realized what the game really was about. So, reluctantly, I started up bootcamp and downloaded the game.

It is awesome. It's everything D3 should've been. The best part: there's a (unofficial) Mac client now. If you like action RPGs (especially if you liked Diablo 2 but were disappointed by Diablo 3) this is the game for you. Oh yeah, did I mention? It's FREE.

Mac Client:

If anyone starts playing let me know and I'll PM my character name.
