Does anyone know of any site for downloading skins or hacks for the mac version of The Sims? Or of any way to adjust the PC versions of skins and such?

the only objects that cause problems are the people skins. all objects (furniture, walls, floors, etc) will work fine assuming you put them in the right place.
if youre looking to figure out the people skins thing, i tried out a couple programs and didnt really care to pursue it any further as its kind of a pain. the programs i tried were farmaker and namer. farmaker takes all the associated files and makes one .far file for you to drop inthe appropriate place, i didnt get this to work ever however. namer renames the files with appropriately length-ed filenames. goodluck.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I'd found.
