Hi

I have just installed untral tournament on my new DP 800 and when I replace the exe with the openGL one and edit the required files it causes the program to crash as soon as you try and make it full screen.

The log says it cannot initialise the hardware, however this machine is brand new with a GeForce 3, all open gl drivers installed.

any ideas
?

I think if you upgrade to V436, you no longer need a UT app specific for OpenGL..
check the readme on the updrades it was pretty well documented in there.

Often those errors mean low memory. How much memory are you giving UT?

I have the solution. I too had troubles with UT and a GF3 and my 867. The answer is that UT doesn't like 32 OpenGL. If you change it to 16 bit, by editing the unrealtournament.ini file, it should run fine. But don't get your hopes up. UT has ver poor OpenGL support and the quality and frame rate are worse than with RAVE. Oh well, I hope that advice works and you can enjoy the game.
