The best place to start looking is at Aspire's website - they've ported over almost all of the Windows goodies that were released by Maxis. Unfortunately, this is the only Mac Sims site I know of.

I just got The Sims this weekend.

So once you download the skins, furniture, decorations...Where do you place the items?

I'm running the Carbon version in OS X.1.4.

Note to any couples out there thinking of buying/building a real house: You and your significant other will argue over how to decorate your Sim's house.
