uh...I know it's suppose to come out the end of October, but i'm looking for an exact date on the release of Age of Empires 2 Gold Edition...if someone could even tell me a week (this week?, next week?)...its a great game and i've waited 2 very long years for it to come to Mac

well, according to the developers, bold (and as noted on inside mac games) the game is due for release 'late october'.

i guess that means it should be released within the next week and a half, but we all know what developers are like with dates.

Enter more random speculation...

I pre-ordered it awhile ago, and on October 16th (several days after the order) I received an email saying the ship date would be 2-3 weeks. That would put it at about the first week of November. I also seem to recall reading October 31st somewhere (*late* October:-), which would corroborate this.

The way I see it: as long as I have it in my hands before Christmas Holiday I'm happy!
