Here's the question. I am trying to get a straightforward answer on what works best in these environments.
All other things being equal:
Take Q3A... optimized for dual processors. Where will it run fastest(rank order)?
Dual 450 in OS9?
Dual 450 in OSX?
733 in OS9?
733 in OSX?
Then, what about a game like Baldur's Gate 2? (Not optimized for duals)
Dual 450 in OS9?
Dual 450 in OSX?
733 in OS0?
733 in OSX?

Help me out here...I haven't seen any clearcut comparisons?

well I have a dual 450 and Q3 is better in X, but BG sucks (in both) 9 is slightly better.. no clue on the 733. hope that helped.
