OK, I know nothing about the little terminal thingy in Quake 3. I was able to make Quake 3 display the frames per second once before, but I don't remember what I typed—I had someone tell me online once. So, how do I do that again? Thanks, Mac dudes.

Edit: Also, where can I get an update so I can play Quake 3 in OS X? Thanks again.

Ok to get the FPS to show type this into the console:
\seta cg_drawFPS 1
set it to 0 to hide it again. As far as Quake for OSX you can go to either The Omni Groups site or to ID's official site. Hope that helps.

Many thanks, Maelman! Now, off to Quake 3 and be so very thankful for the GeForce 3. Quake 3 was truly meant to be played at 1600x1200.
