I have a problem with the Nvidia Gforce 2 mx in the G4 533. With Deus Ex and UT the lighting and colors look ugly. I have no problems with Q3 based games. I have all the games set 32bit full everything, yet the lighting appears to not have and diffusing, so you see very definate bands of light, color and fog, it is very bad looking. If anyone has any suggestions, or tweaks to the .in file, please let me know.

I don't know if this is what you're experiencing, but I found this over at xlr8yourmac :
Geforce2MX UT Demo Fix Also Works for Rune:
A reader sent a note that the fix I posted here on Tuesday for Unreal Tournament Demo Rave mode for GeForce2MX cards also worked with Rune. (Manually setting the INI file to Rave mode and Non-ATI="True") He also noted a problem with Driver when he paused the game and viewed a map of the city.

" I have a new G4 533, the Nvidia card and 384Meg RAM. Just a FYI your fix for UT Demo (retail works fine BTW) also works with the same problem in Rune - retail. I now can play it in Rave and not in software rendering.

I only played a short time last night and I noticed that outdoor scenes do not render correctly (sky and mountains in the background overlap on near by things like columns.) But it does play and it looks a whole lot better than the software version.

Also, the game "Driver" has a problem with some part of my computer. Even with the non essential extensions turned off (Including all ATI and OpenGLRendererATI extensions.) If during game play you pause with the esc key and show the map of the city the map comes up looking like a jigsaw puzzle at first, it then redraws itself a few times then it looks fine. You can then continue the game but when you finish the level and you select restart or continue, then game crashes with a type 2 error. I also bumped the memory to Driver to 130000k with no luck. If you don't pause the game to see the map you can continue with no problems, but in Driver you need to be able to see the big map. I have written to MacSoft and GOD about these problems but have not hear anything back from them.
David Grayson"
Good luck!

I tried the "non ati" setting and deus ex still has weird colors, it looks like its running in 16bit mode, even though its not. Any other ideas?

UT runs great on my g4 533 Nvidia but only after opening the Unreal Tournament.ini file in the UT folder and changing CacheSizeMegs=4 to CacheSizeMegs=32.
