give it to all your friends if you have OSX - it means you no longer have to restart/run starcraft in classic for LAN multiplayer games! woohoo! (assuming your friends don't all have macs with OSX)
you can connect to battle.net from within starcraft to automatically download the update.

Starcraft 1.09 for OS X is MUCH faster than 1.08 for X. Much faster loading, much more "tonsofunits"-tolerant. I like it!

it's...better? Aside from not being able to connect to anyone that is not using SC for X or Bnet SC for X kicks the crap out of SC in 9. Good news though, now if only my computer was in working order...

y'see, 1.09 is an update for ALL platforms, and on non-OSX ones, UDP/IP networking is enabled. so you can play starcraft with anybody who has starcraft 1.09. congratulations.

I got the 1.09 patch and it effed up app in X. I consistently get the error message from BNet that it can't confirm my version, so it tells me to reinstall SC.
