Does anyone know if any games for Mac OS X allow the use of game controllers yet? I have a Sidewinder controller.

4x4 EVO 2 works with my Macally iShock 2 perfectly, except for the "shock" part. I think that will probably require special drivers from Macally.

What emulators are you talking about? I tried MacMAME and it doesn't nor do any of Richard Bannister's. They all support controllers under OS 9 but not OS X, even in classic.

I wish

a) Apple would give us game sprockets in OS X
and/or
b) Game developers would start taking advantage of HID for OS X.

I think A would be a better choice, because I doubt game developers would ever give out a free patch to make that huge of a change in their games.
www.apple.com/macosx/feedback/ <- Go demand game sprockets there. I do about once a week :-)

There's some program (I forget the name, like "Game Controller" or something) that, when opened, substitutes controller buttons for keyboard keys. It should work. Try searching for it.

FlY!2 also works. I'd imagine more and more games will.
