Is it possible, like in Quake 3, to check your framerate in Quake 2? If so, does anyone know how to enable it? I tried doing it the same way you do it in Quake 3, but it didn't work. Perhaps I entered it wrong? Any help? Thanks.

Try: cl_showfps 1

or to run the timedemo, it's timedemo 1 when you start up the game at the menu, then hit esc and wait for the demo to load and play. Check your console to stop the demo and see your average FPS.
