There's a vote going at the Worms forums, to bring WA or WWP to the Mac; plz vote, maybe it can help, if they see that there's a market for it

In fact, Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party are the onliest games I really miss on the Mac

I'm too lazy to deal with errors, so I bought a Mac.

one of the most fun "friend" games ever. The basic idea is you control a team of worms. You then pick for a large arsenal of weapons, ranging from baseball bats, grenades, rockets, bananas (they go boom!), sheep (yes, sheep!), cows, old maid, and other assorted weapons. Then kill the other teams worms.

Just loads of fun. Like when you do a lot of damage there is a cheap tv style "repay" complete with announcer

team 17's site, creaters of worms and where the poll is (use the forum link above though)

Look at www.feral.co.uk. They say they are bringing out one of the Worms games. Your wishes may be granted.

Yeah, it's a fun game. If you've ever played that DOS based tank game (can't remember the exact name) in which you enter vectors and buy different weapons in an attempt to destroy other tanks, then you'll know Worms. So I'll take some time to vote on this one. At the very least, even if you hate the Worms concept, others like it, and new Mac software is always A Good Thing.

need to bump this

Now everyone go and vote yes and please take the few minutes to tell them WHY you want worms. Let them know that there ARE mac users out there who play games. Justifying your vote IMO will practically make it count for 5 annomious(sp?) votes. And the NO people have some points too. Basically they say that Team17 has enough on their plate to port it. So remember.

vote.
tell they why.

And if your not sure just say you use a mac, have x mac/hardware so they can't use "mac's don't have the hardware to run games" BS and play games.

you will not be disappointed.

Strong (and very good) memories of original.

21 - 17 in favour. Who are these evil people voting against it? Losers.

as do I, very fond memories. Nothing like taking rips off the bong when it's not your turn and playing with that lovable worms for hours

And those "Losers" are just windows users who don't want to see Team17 devoting any energies away from making the windows software even better. Really ignoring the fact that team17 would likely just use Macsoft or westlake or aspyer or someone to port it for them.

Well, I put my vote in for Worms - man alive I hope they bring it. That game is just so addictive, so fun - my favorite video game I've played in the past year.
