I've posted several times on these boards about getting my FPS up in Q3A. I'd like to know how I can get the FPS above at least 20 whenever I play. I can only get an average of 10 FPS. And that is piss poor quality! Here are my system specs and Q3A settings:

System:
Rev. B iMac
192 MB RAM
Mac OS 9.0.4

Q3A:
OpenGL On
Fullscreen
16-bit Color-depth
Default Texture Depth
Vertex Lighting
Bilinear Filtering

All Game Options are SET TO LOW!!!!

Why can't I get my FPS up any?!?!?!?!

Please, someone with similar system specs post back and help me!!!! Please!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Thanks!

I've got a Rev C iMac with the same settings & ram and get around 20FPS, I use a base extension ste & use Game Laucher to free up the finders memory (& allocate/give Q3A 165MB memory).

I cant believe you've purchased that much RAM but NOT a gamewizard. If I had to choose between 96 megs and gamewizard versus 512 megs of ram, you'd STILL get tons better perf with a gamewizard. its a night and day difference my friend. BUY ONE NOW. TRUST ME.
