I know this goes into contradiction to what I said before about AvP but I have a little problem. Aliens versus Predators is $30. Its a dated game by about 5 years. (mind you I like it) Its fundamentally the same as the PC version, its just coded for a Mac. Now why doesn't it have to be so expensive (relative to its PC counterpart). I can understand that new games are expensive because they had to hire teams of people to write code and make graphics and a whole slew of things that go into making an original piece of work. The same amount of work hasn't been put into bringing it to the Mac platform. So why the profit gouging? And why are Mac people so willing to put up with it?
In contrast AvP 2 is $7 dollars more for PC users and its much more advanced than its predecessor. Alice for PC is about a year older than its Mac version. And following the same pricing scheme its about twice the price as the PC version.
