Hey all...I'll be getting a TiBook on Monday, and as a dedicated Falcon4 pilot, am wondering about game-controllers to use with this, my first USB machine.

Specifically, what will work? Does joystick support depend on the game, or will any joystick with a USB plug function? I know most if not all USB mice are mac-compatabile, so I'm hoping the situation is similar.

Thanks,

-Jonathan

I have both the iStick and iShock II, if the game has joy stick support the iStick will work great. If it doesn't then its hit or miss. I know that might not help but its the best I can do without knowing which games you plan on using. Your best bet is to look online at the game sites and see what they will support. The Macally products work well for me but that my personal preference, there might be cheaper but the support for their items is excellent.

Actually, the game in question, Falcon 4, requires a joystick to control the plane.

It depends on the money you want to spend. If 70$ are no problem, grab the X36 from Saitek. If this is too much, take the Cyborg 3D from Saitek, a very good, stabil, solid joystick which works incredibly good with Falcon, its about 25$.
Anyway, Thrustmaster products can be recommended (while normally a bit more expensive) and also (if you have too much money), you take CH products

Perfectly happy with my Saitek Cyborg 3D with Twist Grip and Throttle - works for me, for X-plane, Warbirds and Descent. There are two versions, I believe, that resemble eachother, so make sure you get the one with twist grip and lotsa buttons.
