Um... will it work?
The GeForce3 on an AGP 2X bus such as the Sawtooth?
It'd better.
How starved will the card be by this slower bus?
Will it make a significant difference?
TIA

well the performance of the card wont be optimized on the 2x systems put still its gonna be way better than radeon or geforce 2

ahh just imagine dual 733 geforce 3 OSX, i bet u could crank out 300+ fps in quake with that configuration, we might even have the leading edge in game performe over pc's

On a machine without 4X and write-combining, I would imagine the Geforce 3's performance wouldn't be worth the cost. Yes, you would see an increase, but nowhere as much as what you'd see on the new G4s. Is a Radeon or Geforce 2 MX even fully utilized on AGP 2X?
