I have the beta 2.2 of Urban Terror for Quake 3 and it will not run
It says I do not have the latest version. I have the latest patch 1.30 for Quake 3 and just downloaded Urban Terror.
"Client/Server game mismatch: Q3UT-2.2/baseq3-1. This is usually caused when you try to connect to a server that is running a newer or older version of Urban Terror."
Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Plus I can't seem to get Quake 3 for OS X to run. It use to run on my iBook but since I transfered all my files to my Ti, I can't seem to set it to run. I have copied all the "base" files from Quake 3 classic but it still asks for the directory.
What am I missing? Or am I just an idiot?

Wow, thanks for answering that person's question.

You need urban terror 2.3 update, it's 53 megs and has a map map, you can grab it in the macintosh file section at www.urban-terror.net.

IT's true that the latest update is 2.3 for Urban Terror (the best Q3 mod, btw), however that's probably not the problem if Q3 does not work. All you need to run Q3 is the point release and "pak0.pk3 and "pak1.pk3." In fact, you can even get those files from a Windows Q3 install CD. Make sure the point release overwrites all other files, though, since the point release is the "updated" version.

I think that your files are just overwritten the wrong way. Try deleting all of the files and trying again.

Thanks for the replies. I fixed the Urban Terror problem. The mac install is 2.0, I had to search around for the 2.3 update. You would think that they would make it easier to find the update. Although, I still have not resolved my Quake 3 OS X issue
