The latest Q3 releases can't play demos from the UI. However, they're supposed to be able to play the demos if one enters in the console "demo demoname".
Yet that doesn't work for me either.
The two new demos, demo000 and demo001, will start to load, but at the last moment the game exits to the main menu.
Trying to run those demos from inside Q3TA exits just the same, but this time I get an error message (couldn't parse server, or something like that).
Last the Q3TA demos thmesleves run fine.
It's just the new Q3 demos that I can't get to work.
Anybody else is having this problem? ... knows what's going on? ...wrong?
