I know I have seen a frag music thread a couple of months ago, but my searches aren't turning anything up. So, what are your favorite frag tunes?? Because its Spring Break, baby, and I am going to knock the dust of f of UT and hit it hard.

I will need a lot of frag tunes to carry me through, so come on you mac freaks and put in your two cents, or better yet help me find that thread!!

The matrix sound track is kick ass with the techo beats. Prodigy, Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails (from the first quake oh yah), Chemical Brothers, Fat Boy Slim, Moby, I litsen to all of them when I play 4x4, and quake 3 and Ut

No, I will not play UT all spring break. Actually, the reason I said that was to motivate anyone reading my post to actually take the time to write type out a few songs or groups for me. I was trying to appeal to that small part of each person that remembered playing UT or Q3A all night and listening to killer tunes.

peace

A while back Accolade made this sweet little Quake-meets-Carmageddon game called Redline for PC. Single player, its an uneven game with tons of glitches. Multiplayer, it rocked hard and fast, but was unbalanced in some aspects.

However, the soundtrack ROCKS. I use it for DoomLegacy all the time, and I think it would be some killer non-vocal fraggin tunes to break up the pace of Top 40 songs.

And I don't know why, but somehow I feel that Fragging to "Oops! I did it again..." would be perversely amusing...

Kitty - Brackish
Nine Inch Nails - any of their stuff really! Some is a little slow, but you'll soon weed out whats best for fragging.
Metallica has some good fragging tunes, but not the best.
Garbage?
Um... I can't think of much at the moment...

You'll certainly want to check out Smashing Pumpkins, At the Drive In, Zeo, Sunny Day Real Estate, Rage Against the Machine, Crystal Method, Stained (I don't think that's how you spell it), Limp, Beastie Boys is cool, hmmm.......how about Vast, Creed, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam (Evolution), Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cool Hand Luke, Loose Change, and of course, Ricky Martin.

That's all I can think of at the moment. Huh.

Oh yeah, some Zao would be good... um... I don't know many of their songs... lies of serpents, a river of tear - 5 year winter - within a dream.
They're the only ones I can remember the names to...

Try flight of the Valkaries, it is a kick ass score from one of the old time
composers. It rocks for a battle tune.

The nine inch nails I was thinking of was there first big hit pretty hate machine there is tons of fast pace tracks to that one, same with the downward sprial, You just got confused with The Fragile, which has its ups and downs. Try and get quake one and grab the music from that it will blow your mind and enemies. Play it loud and play it often

Ministry. Definitely Ministry. Not the early dance stuff but tracks like Stigmata.
