I've played Q2 online many times, but at the moment my dial up connection just isn't fast enough, (nor is my video card really, Rage Pro 6M(ega/easley)B(ytes/sh*tes).
But in a couple of months I should have a broadband cable or ADSL connection (and a faster computer hopefully!)

Man, it's been a long time since I finished Q2(hard). Aren't you near the end? The last few levels are awesome because you definitely sense that you are closing in on the Makron and you don't know what to expect. Let us know what you think of the finish.

Just thought I'd let you know that I've finished Q2 (medium, I know I'm a wimp!).
Although I love playing games on my Mac, I'm only a casual gamer as I've usually got better stuff to do (I'm just trying to get my ass fried!) but I've been ill recently so I picked up the game (Q2) again (and started reading/posting to these boards again).
BTW I killed the big (strogg?) Boss and the bloke that pops out of him and checked out the underground gallery with Pics of the ID staff, and found the guy with the (lethal) chicks draped over him, but I couldn’t kill them or him, so I killed the two guys wailing on the floor instead (are they moaning/wailing cause they want to be sitting on that chair with the chicks????) and made my way to the open escape pod activated it and then the game crashed!!!
(I’ve had loads of probs with them crashing and saved games not loading since I started playing the game again).
I know this is probably really old news to you guys, but I only got my first Mac at the beginning of 1999, I didn’t have any Vid acceleration for nearly a year as my Vid card (crappy old rage Pro 6MB) was to put it politely defunct, and had to be replaced.
But yes, I guess I'm a retarded sub standard gamer/fragger if the truth be told!
