I've dowloaded this update from many sites and tried to install it many times and it never works. I've restarted my maching and done all that i can think to do. Any suggestions?

At least I am not alone it seems. That makes three of us so far.

According to a post on Mac Deus Ex you have to do a full reinstall before running the patch but it didn't work for me.

What kind of harware is anybody that does get the update to work running?

I had trouble getting it to install at first as well. I reinstalled using the full install method and left Deus Ex in the default folder (the root of the hard drive). The update folder was also placed in the root of the hard drive. It then worked.
