Okay, so the well-respected statistical fantasy baseball game, Strat-o-Matic Baseball, will no longer be developed for the Mac, beginning this year.

I'm not buying a PC to play this game, so the attention turns towards Virtual PC 5 as a possible solution. Strat-o-Matic requires the use of a key disk to authenticate the program once it's installed... at any point, you can move the copy protection from the key disk to the hard drive, but from that point on, the key disk is unusable.

Given this configuration, does anyone have an opinion regarding the functionality (or lack thereof) of Strat-o-Matic Baseball in VPC??

Thanks...

Darren

PS - On a related note, who's up for a polite but firm petition/letter to the developers of this game, informing them of the foolishness of their no-Macs-anymore decision? Anyone who has played this game or would be interested in purchasing this game if a Mac version still existed, please speak up!
