My Wife came across a bit about the web-page your creature builds in Black & White... amusing to know about. (It "takes screenshots" of defining moments in its life, etc.)

The artice she sent explained how to find the webpage on the PC, and as expected, we found the same structure in the Preferences file (in OS X it's in your User>Library>Preferences folder... Lionhead>Black & White>Profiles>(your user profile)>HTML>(your user profile).html )

Cute premise, but it doesn't seem to work. The Creature's snapshopts show up, and the page is evidently trying to do something... but every other image is missing.

Not a big deal, but my wife's hyped on seeing her cow's webpage... anyone have luck with getting this to display properly?

This will be fixed by the 1.1.3 patch, which will be out shortly (it's currently waiting on localisation). The problem is the ImageRoot declaration on line 9 of the html - this is currently a file:// URL which contains a full path to the application directory.

If the application is moved after installation, this path will break. In addition, some web browsers require file:/// rather than file:// for full paths - so a full path may not work even if the app hasn't been moved.

The fix is to change this variable to "./", and to copy the image files in the <app dir>/Scripts/html directory into the directory containing the creature html.

In 1.1.3 we'll copy these files automatically and set up the correct path, but for now you'll have to do it by hand -sorry about that.

I'm not sure how "defining" my moments were - they seem a bit dull! - probably because I'm being "good" first time round.
