Hi, all

I have PowerBook G4 and IBM Thinkpad connected each other by crossover cable and PC Maclan. What I want to do is play StarCraft with my brother using these two. I've already installed StarCraft on each machine but I don't know how to connect them. When I choose Multi player options they don't recognize each other. Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.

You need to install Mac IPX from the installer for the mac. On the pc side you need to have IPX protocol enabled/installed. One of my roomates handles the PC side i handle the Mac side. Great sunday afternoons inviting six friends over and scaring the neighbors.

Thanks for reply,

But I've already installed Mac IPX and still I don't know how to make this work. I choose IPX connection on both side but nothing happens after that. Any more ideas?

Thanks again

Have you tried creating games on both machines? have you networked theses two machines for anything else before? Also, not to be a mac snob, but most likely the problem does exist on the PC side. Mabye dump the PC MAclan, it's redundant, you don't need it. Sorry, pretty brief but was just surfing the forums at work.
