Has anyone gotten UT to work well in X?
I see that Red Fraction has released an X update, so are you able to play Red Fraction in X as well as you can in 9?

UT works in MacOS X, but it still has a few bugs. Why don't you try the update.
I haven't installed Red Faction yet. I just bought it.

Red Faction runs great on my FlatPanel iMac! I had to download an update to make it work. Now all I want is Descent 3 & Bubble Trouble.

I thought that I read somewhere that they were not going to implement music in UT OS X. Isn't that in the readme. In that case, booh!!!
But at least it is in OS X!!! Cool, sound sounds bad, but still, it is better than the choppy fps in classic that I get sometimes.

Glenda Adams was going to release a new version of UT X with fixes to some of the sound (the gun sounds, etc.) and mouse problems, but I haven't seen it.
I think 11011001 is right about the music, I don't think it's going to be there ever in UT in OS X.

music? You mean that crappily composed mod variant music? I'll play my own mods and mp3s in the background, thank you

Well, It works... It runs great... I usually got oh about 50 fps inside buildings, and 20 outside in the heat of battle.
I'm now getting 60 fps over the hole board. (G4 733, 384 Mb, Nivida Geforce 2 mx 32 mb) Digital Audio.
My only query is Tactical-ops has released their 2.2.0 version and how are you able to get that thing to run in Mac OS X. Their is no more download for Macintosh. I downloaded the Manualy install version and I just don't see how you can run TO in OSX... I though their used to be a OSX launcher?
