I have tried out EV Nova so far on a Beige Minitower G3 & an upgraded PM7500 using ATI Nexus 128 card (32mb on Beige) and Rage Orion (16mb on 7500) and both machines give me a problem as far as the displayed resolution is concerned! I have tried to let the game change the resolution by itself and have tried to manually change the resolution on each machine... but it always shows up with a screen that is larger than can be seen (i.e.- some of the controls screens in the game are off the edge of the display and cannot be accessed! grrrr!) Any suggestions???

Beige running 9.04 / or 9.2.2
7500 running 9.1
ATI software version = 2.7.0

Why don't you change the position of the monitor on the monitor itself? Shrink the display down a little, I mean...

Are you starting nova with the desktop @ 1024 x 768? If not, do it.

Yes I am... does it matter what mhz the display is set at? I have the desktop @ 1024 x 768 (120mhz).

Even at higher resolutions, the game shows up in a smaller window, but THAT window shows the game in a miniature version with the same problem... controls off the edge of the displayed window. I'm going nuts with this!

You're running the display at 120 hertz. If you're actually running the display at 120 megahertz, please tell me who made your monitor and graphics card.

Picky, picky.... sheesh! You know what I meant.

Anyway, problem solved... selected 1024 x 768 running at 75 HZ

All is well again.
