Switching between full screen and windowed screen in the StarCraft X (I'm using the latest version) causes a complete system input lockup in Mac OS X 10.1.3. The keyboard and mouse do not respond to anything, but the system seems okay because I can see tasks in the background of windowed mode continue to progress (things like the system clock, etc.).

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem, or if a fix exists? I've tried unplugging and replugging my keyboard and mouse, but that didn't work. A hard boot seems to be the only way to get my system back.

I'm not running the native version right now, so I can't comment. However, if you find yourself in that situation, it would make sense to SSH into the machine.

I've had slightly similar problems to that. Actually, it only happened once system-wide. But it wasn't permanent. I had to wait like 10 sec before I got input control back. How long are you waiting until rebooting?

The first time it happened, I waited about a minute.
