your link doesn't seem to work, but as this is very important topic , i figure i should throw in the stuff i know about the cheats.

after fiddling around for some time, i got the cheats to work, but i don't know if it's the same way you did.

i made a plain text document with the following line:

set sv_cheats 1

then i saved the document as text doc with the name

user.cfg

place the user.cfg file in the 'Main' folder of RtCW beta.

in order to get it to work, i find that i have to start Wolf SP, load a saved game, then just exit to the main menu. then in console, type in "sv_cheats", and it should say it is set to 1, and default is 0.

then when you load another game, the cheats should be enabled.

here's a list of cheats i found on www.actiontrip.com:

/god - God Mode
/notarget - Enemies Don't Attack
/noclip - No Clipping Mode
/give all - All Weapons and Ammo
/give armor - Give armor
/give health - Give health
/give stamina - Give stamina
/give ammo - Give ammo
/give # - Give Item # (See List below)
/mapname - Get the Current Map Name (See List below)
/spdevmap mapname - Jump to mapname
/dir maps - List all maps
/nofatigue - Unlimited Stamina
/cg_uselessnostalgia 1 - Original Wolfenstein Interface
/cg_FOV # - Set Field-of-View to #
/kill - Suicide
/reconnect - Reconnect to a server

/cmdhist - Show all commands
/serverinfo - Show server settings
/toggle cg_drawtimer - Show timer
/toggle r_fullscreen - Window mode (on/off)
/toggle cg_draw2d - Show HUD (on/off)
/toggle cg_gibs - Gibs (on/off)
/toggle cg_drawteamoverlay - Team Overlay (on/off)
/toggle cg_drawcompass - Show Compass (on/off)
/g_speed xxx - Change walk spped (xxx=320 for normal speed, 999 for max speed)

Map Names: escape1, escape2, tram, village1, village2, crypt1, crypt2, church, boss1, forest, rocket, dam, chateau, dark, dig, castle, end, beach, village, boss2, rocket, baseout, assault, mfactory, trainyard, norway, xlabs, wine, wine2, wine3

Items List: panzerfaust, venom, armor, dynamite, thompson, mp42, mauser rifle, flamethrower, sten, fg42, paratroop rifle, grenade, colt 45, large health, medium health, 9mm, 12.7mm, 7.92mm, .30cal, .45cal, cell

i'd be curious to know what other ways there are to enable cheats. if anyone has done it differently, please post!

the user.cfg didn't work for me, so I changed the app in a hexedittor. the link will work after a while, I changed it a few minutes ago, but iDIsk seems to have problems updating the public folder quickly. My sig took a while to start to work.

yeah, at first i couldn't get the user.cfg file to work either. then instead of using TextEdit, i think i made a doc in word, and made sure i saved it as a text document, and with a normal name, like user.txt.

then, i went in and manually changed the doc name from user.txt to user.cfg.

...or you could edit the app like you did. it's all good, and a lot of fun blowing people away with an endless supply of rockets!

lol, yeah, I used simpletext.

The zombies in the crypt go poof with the supermachine gun thing, the girls in the church scream with the flamethrower. pretty funny. that giant evil thing in the church just pops away ;-)

the conversations are cool to hear

the screaming girls were totally unexpected!
it's funny, you flame them, and at some point before they die, it looks like they're jumping up and down, or stamping trying to get the fire out while they're screaming!

ahhh...nothing like the violence of video games
