Hey everyone! Did you guys see the review for the game, Get Amped at Macgamer.com? It's an anime action fighting game with single/multi player options. . . and it's also freeware! There's nothing like this on the mac! Macgamer.com has screenshots and the link to the website where you can download the game. I think it's a mac os x only game and it's probably not os 9 compatible. One bad news though, it's in Japanese!

It's a funny little game...I'm not sure if I like it or not. It's cool graphics-wise, but damn does it get hard quick.
The computer enemies become insanely tough and fast (but are also insanely stupid and jump off ledges or cliffs regularly...even the boss enemies.)
Wanted to try net play but haven't gotten the chance nor the patience to figure out this Japanese stuff.
I never knew Java could produce such a game though. I have more respect for the Java language now.

Very fun game. Wish it performed a little quicker on my iBook, but I'm happy overall. Maybe this is an excuse to get a new G4...
Does anyone know how to create a new game at the Championship/deathmatch/etc. screen? Net play really is easy to jump into, just hit "v" to go forward and "c" to go back, those are the keys to keep hitting in the game (z x c v) .
