Is it true that Return to Castle Wolfenstein requires a radeon or a nvidia card with 32 mb of vram? 'Cause I got a 600mhz imac with a rage 128 ultra with 16mb vram! If it is true, the majority of imac owners won't be able to play! Can someone please confirm whether this is true?

Also, I thought this damn thing was going to ship in January?!?

Is it EVER going to ship?

Yep. . . It's true. . . RtCW requires a Radeon or Geforce 2 MX or later. Maccentral stated this in their article about RtCW going gold master. That sucks man! I guess I won't be playing it on my 600Mhz G3 iMac with the Rage 128 Ultra 16 vram and 512 megs of ram. I will probably need to get myself a G4 tower. Curse Apple for putting out iMacs that become obsolete so fast!

I don't believe RtCW will do a check to see if you have the required video card. Westlake and Aspyr has the minimum required video card as it is because that's the minimum hardware requirement that they feel is needed to play the game, but by no means will the game not run for those with ATI 128s. What's playable for you may not be playable for others.
If the multiplayer test works fine for you, then I would guess that the retail release will work fine as well.
