I just installed QT 5 and my The Sims stop running. It's giving me a message saying that I need QT 4.1 or later... dah?!
Any ideas!?

It's not the Public Preview, is it? It could be that some old 4.x extension is still lingering in your system folder, or the 5 installation was incomplete. Try uninstalling 5 and re-install it again. If that doesn't work then check info for all Quicktime-extensions (usually has "Quicktime" in the name, also check "Sound Manager") to see if any are from QT 4.

I'll second that one... I had problems with multiple apps when I have remnants of an older version of Quicktime still lying around on my hard drive. Make sure all that remains are the QT5 components!

Sorry for taking so long to check my post guys... actually I solve the problem at the same day I post here... the problem was with the !T small installation... as soon as I uninstalled and re-installed with full install, everything was cool!!
