Still debating on whether or not to get it. Will probably wait for the price to go down after BG 2 comes out in July. Can't see paying $30 for an expansion that is a year late...

The cheapest prices I can find are here:

eCost

Buy.com

Gateway???? How weird is that?

I'm just gonna pass it up and buy BG2 whenever they finish porting it. Which should be *at least* by the end of the millennium.

Just picked it up. First, cleaning up and getting a full install was a chore. Secondly, the game stutters now horribly in combat. I *really* hope they release a patch soon to fix this.

Open up your baldur.ini file and change:
Path Search Nodes=32000
to
Path Search Nodes=3000

That's essentially your characters path finding AI. It's 3000 in BG and 32000 in TotSC.
I picked TotSC for $15. CompUSA had an instant rebate deal. Waste of packaging. The only thing in the box was the CD in a paper envelope. I would have liked to see a 6 CD case! That'd be cool!
