Hey all. If you haven't read about TRUFORM, check it out here. It's quite interesting. The question that keeps popping up for me is, "Is this ATI's big comeback since getting their butts collectively kicked by nVidia?

What do you think? Is the GeForce3 about to be dethroned? I suppose it's strategically a great time for ATI to release this info since Mac people just started getting GeForce3s last week.

The Radeon2 is suppose to be more powerful than the geforce3.

ATi would be dog meat if the Radeon 2 wasn't faster than the GeForce 3. They're releasing it, what, at least six months after the GeForce? That's almost an entire product generation in the video card industry right there...so very, very soon after the Radeon 2 is released, you can be sure that nVidia will release something even faster. It's the way the industry works. Where it goes from here is anyone's guess, but it's sure to keep moving really quickly.
