Time to organize a MacNN LAN Party, no?
I'm in Massachusetts, and I'd like to hear from people who would be interested.
Another idea is to plan one for MacWorld SF 2001 as well. Is there any interest?

I know a few (PC) gamers who can host it too. They're not Mac haters, so it should be okay.
He's a cool guy. He's got respect for both platforms, but games on the PC. The equipment at his house is awesome - he's got two Cisco Ethernet switches, a dual processor hosting machine, and cokes for a few days.
We'll talk.

Whoa... cool. Where in MA are you located denim? I'm in Western MA (Amherst to be exact) and would love to get in on something like this - esp with this POS iMac getting upgraded to V2 in <1 week! Being on a college campus i could probably scrap together a bunch of other interested folks as well. Mac gaming really is something that more folks need to see in action.

The MaCNN LAN party at MacWorld SF 2001 is another story. Do we need to do that here, or will Things Get Done behind the scenes?

If anyone in the MA area is interested, i know that there is going to be a BIG gaming tourny/event scheduled this fall at Umass - Amherst. If interested, email directly and i will responsd with details as soon as the specifics are ironed out. Most likely be post-September event.
