Hey, i played Myst and now before i buy Exile, i am thinking about buying Riven. Is the gameplay same to Myst? Or better? Would you recommend it?

I'd reccommend it.
Gameplay is identical Myst -- albeit with much-improved visuals.
It's also by far the hardest of the three.
It also couldn't hurt to have more Myst background before playing Exile

riven is the cream of the crop in my opinion. if you have a DVD player...get the DVD version of Riven....its well worth the money! expect to spend a lot of time playing Riven....its the toughest of the myst series , but it has awesome 2D graphics.

A few people have sent in reviews for Exile, and for what it's worth one person said they actually liked Riven better...

I have not played either yet, I played the original Myst. I do like the 3D Adventure genre, but I prefer the ones with character interaction (like RedJack: Revenge of the Brethren and Escape From Monkey Isl).
There is also an adventure game that is being hailed as the 'best adventure game of all time'. It's called the Longest Journey, not announced for the Mac yet, and if it doesn't get announced I just may buy a used PC to play this one game. Seriously. I put up a preview page for it, see what is being said about this game...
