Just when you think there arn't gona be any more cool games just for the pc Westwood is gettting ready to release the new version of Dune. Now back in my pc days this was a kick ass game!! So, now that I have a mac, I'm wondering what you guys think if it would work on Virtual PC. I'm still trying to find out the actuall system requirements from westwood, so I'll post back as soon as I can if it will help...
I tried to run bg2 on vpc and it didnt run at all.
vp does not support graphics acceleration for starters, which is a real shame but such is life.
So even if you have a gforce 3 card, you arent going to enjoy graphics better than a 4mb s3 trio card unfortunately. Maybe you could run games like c&c or doom, but anything modern and youll be running into trouble.
My advice - get a console or cheap pc if you arent happy with the current and future range of mac games. Not meaning to sound sarcastic hear - its a sad reality. (I myself am looking at purchasing a gamecube or xbox or ps2 this xmas hopefully).
