I'm hoping you all can help me, I'm looking for an old Mac Star Trek shareware game. I can't remember the name of it, but it's a real time game where you controlled the Enterprise in the Next Generation world, flying around shooting Cardassians (I think?) who were trying to destroy federation bases on planets. You could enlist the help of Klingons in your fights, there were pre-programmed evasive manuever sequences, and you could use a tractor beam. Sometimes you came across Farengi, or Q would send the Borg after you. There were multiple windows, one showed the ship flying around, another was your long range sensors, another was text of box describing the play-by-play, another were the controls of the ship. Anyone remember this game? If so, please let me know the name and/or where I can download it. Thanks!

The game was Rescue! I am not sure where to download it - Paramount felt their copyrights were being infringed, so in later versions the names of the races changed to things like 'Rulans' and 'Kigons'. Paramount still didn't like it however, and it was taken off the official web site.

That's it, thanks! I was racking my brain yesterday trying to remember the name. It looks like ZDNet still offers it as a download as well:

Now here's a harder question: Would anyone know where to find an older version, like v.2.0.1? I miss the original sounds...
